The Planning for Endless Bummer

I created a story and built the space around that story.

"It's winter and bullshit back home and thankfully you've escaped to paradise with some friends. The drinks had been flowing and you'd lost track of the time and day, you knew you were going to have to go back home at some point but that was another day's problem. You're not sure whose idea it was to go wandering around but here you are. The sun had set, your bottle has been empty and no one knows how to get back. It's all kind of blurry how you found it but you had to see what was inside. who knows how long you've been in this cave. It's hard to tell, time starts to lose meaning in a place like this. Then you saw the glow, you can't explain why you had to go in but you knew you did. Maybe you thought it was the way out, maybe it didn’t matter. Once you were here you knew this is where you are supposed to be. And that's why you heard someone say, "welcome to your forever." You're clearly not the first here. Others have left their marks and keepsakes behind and some look like they've spent significant time here. What is this place? Is it even a place? It must be somewhere in between being and not being, between vacation and death. It doesn’t really make sense why but it was comforting when you read it carved in the wall. "Endless Bummer" "

I mocked up the flow of the space and how we wanted to position everything. Then I sketched out how the walls would be built and designed as well as the new foyer space.

I knew lighting would be a very important element, so I also built channels for the cabling inside of the concrete walls and planned out the wiring flow.
